I read do we depend on technology to much. Yes, we do but that is our life now. Some of us are so far behind on technology (like me) that it seems like we are never going to catch up. I feel bad that I am having to ask someone every little step to do and having to write it down. So for a lot of yes technology has gone to far or may be that I am too far behind. There is good in technology. We are doing things faster, getting info. faster, but what happened to using our voice to communicate?

Thing 2

I enjoyed a lot of these articles.
I agreed with Davis about with all the technology that we have we don't know who is spying on us. They get younger and smarter every year. So who can we trust. As for Mr. Meyer not giving homework I can understand because the one's that are going to do it will. But they still need to learn what a piece of paper and pencil are for and how to use them. The power point by was okay a little boring. With Mr. Richardson there is only so much a teacher and paprapro can do in the class that they have. With cyberbulling it is going on everywhere. I hate to see it and then it seems like they promote it on t.v.

Thing1-b

It is great to have the technology that we have, but there are a lot of draw backs. There are still a lot of students that do not have use of a computer at home, much less daily lessons on a computer in the lab. Sometimes (most of the time) we don't get computer lab time because of the day of the week that it follows on or they are having some special activity. This is not helping the children learn about the computer when they do not have access to one. With the money as tight as it is a lot of people will have less experience on the computer.
What do people do that when they have a paper due and everything is on the computer and the electricity goes out or the computer freezes?
I am for technology to a certain degree but we depend on it TOO MUCH!

thing 1-a

My name is Debbie Baker. I am a kindergarten parparpo at Yargo Elementary. I have been working with the Barrow County Schools for 15 years. I love it. I started out in P.E. then after 10 years decided I needed a change and I went to kindergarten, where I have been for the last 5 years. Have loved everyday. I work with Dawn Bradbradberry who is an excellent teacher and has a lot a patience with me on learning new things. Mainly on the computer.

I am taking this coarse to further my learning on the computer.

I hope to gain a better understanding of the computer, learn how to do different things on the computer and how to do it without asking for help.
